I ordered the Charlie Brown pen for my husband for Father's Day. He wanted it for Christmas, but I screwed up and bought him something else. To make up for it, I figured Father's Day was a perfect time to gift it to him. Ordering the pen was easy. I received information on tracking and delivery and the package arrived on time. I was really excited to receive the pen and couldn't wait to give it to him. On the day the pen arrived, I quickly opened the box, took out the packing paper and removed the pen box. I had also ordered ink cartridges which were also in the box. That is it 3 items plus the shipping box. I opened the pen box and there was nothing inside. Absolutely nothing. It was evident the pen box was empty, but I shook it anyway, turned it upside down, and shook it again. Empty. I returned to the shipping box and packing paper. I turned the shipping box upside down and shook it. Empty. I unfurled the packing paper. Empty. I was so confused that I went back to the pen box and repeated the process again. Empty. When it finally sunk in that the pen was not in the box I took a picture of the pen box in the shipping box. I then called customer service. I was so very ready to be told there was nothing that could be done. But I was wrong. The person I talked to (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name) couldn't have been more helpful and also more surprised that the pen box arrived empty. She had me send her the photo and asked what date I needed the pen by. She submitted another order for me and ensured me it would arrive on time. I received the replacement two days ago. This time the pen was in the box! While the pen is absolutely beautiful and my husband will love it, Levenger will always be in my heart for the amazing customer service I received.
