For a first time user of the website, it was confusing to me in that it didn't provide any indication that the order could be modified at check out. I was attempting to modify my order as I was shopping and choosing items, but all it would do is add cost to the total! Exiting the site and then returning didn't delete the items either. Except for the items that have a +/- option, subtracting any mis-added item prior to selection, it cannot be done until the checkout screen! Just a simple "Order may be modified at check-out" notice would have been very helpful for the first-timer.
Also... this being my first order with Horizon Hobby, I expected a discount based on the promo that if I signed up for email notifications (which I've done at least twice now) then the first order is discounted. Maybe that should be better explained, and perhaps some instructions provided on how to actually acquire that discount. Like what are the limitations. Only orders submitted at the time of sign-up? Is there a time limit from when you sign-up? Is there some code to use, or something a customer needs to do to redeem that sign-up discount? Information is always helpful.
