Site is easy to use and instructions are clear. I wish there were more options for sizing without a special order. This is the 5th item we have purchased and we love the quality. Would also like to see discounts for returning customers with an active account.

The product is a solid item and the proceedure of ordering was great. The problem is it does not work as advertised. We still have smoke problems. We do like the way the fire looks in this great versus a traditional grate which is a plus, but again, the main reason we purchased it was to eliminate the smoke issues and that has not happened.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience purchasing from Grate Wall of Fire. I bought this product expecting it to function as advertised—just like in their promotional videos—but it doesn't even stand up properly without being flipped around. The welding is poor, the construction feels imprecise, and it’s clear there was little attention paid to either craftsmanship or quality control. What made matters worse was the customer service. When I reached out to clarify sizing and fit before my purchase, I was met with an unhelpful and rude response. And when I expressed concern that the item didn’t fit properly, I was told that if I wanted to return it, the burden was entirely on me to arrange for return shipping—despite the back panel alone weighing over 100 pounds. That’s unacceptable for a company selling custom, heavy-duty items. Reputable businesses—whether in the mattress space or hardware and appliance industries—understand the logistical barriers of large-item returns and offer some level of support. It’s unfortunate, because I genuinely wanted this product to work. But what I received was something that felt like it came from a mom-and-pop garage operation, with zero regard for engineering, design, or accountability. I won’t be buying from them again, and I’d caution others who expect real quality and professional support.
