I visited your store a few weeks ago and was told that the Pilot VP Broken Journey was shortly arriving but Fahrney's did not know how many to order. I left my name and contact information and said I was interested in buying the pen when it came in. I also expressed interest in buying a Sailor pen and was told they would be arriving in two weeks. Again, I said to contact me when they came in. I never received a contact when the Pilot pen came in and almost purchased it from Goulet who did contact me. However, at the last moment I received a bulk email from Fahrney's advertising the pen and bought it as I had promised but was annoyed I had not been contacted. I still have not been contacted regarding the Sailor pen. Your online sales was great. Your store customer service is not and I would only recommend online sales for Fahrney's. They appear unreliable for special orders, advance orders, or general expressions of interest.

Easy shopping experience! Nice selection at good prices, as well. One small thing; it would be nice if there were a standard set of specifications for every pen. For instance, one pen description said that it took cartridges, but not the type of cartridge, such as proprietary or standard. If every pen had the same table of product data, it would be easier to compare them. It's nice to be able to support a local DC business, even when I don't have time to get to their downtown location.

Website somewhat frustrating to manuver. It hopes around and shows too many ads. Also adds add to small balloon msg of thing I just ordered making the assumption it needs to be hit then adds an addt’l item to one of the items already on the cart list.probably wasted 5-10minfrlrating those extra products. Also it’s really not any of your business how old I am, my income, how many kids and their ages,’my gender, etc. I realize it’s a way to use as a marketing tool but I do not wish to be included I that. I intend to buy what I buy regardless of being a divorce, widow, a mi or child, in prison, black, yellow or green!! And what if any decides if the info is true or correct or pulled from someone else’s info? Ok you asked, I delivered!

It is always a good experience. I had also called them about a fountain pen nib repair and they gave me the name of someone. They always tell me about a pen I am ready to buy and maybe a comparable that's better. I like them very much. They don't carry alll the small accessories that they used to but that's ok

I liked the ability to examine the pen's detail and description. I don't remember seeing shipping options, but since this is a gift for an advance date, no problem.
