I received a promotional email from etrailer for a special on windshield covers. They maintain a log of my vehicle (Promaster) and this was recommended to fit this vehicle. I ordered 3, the 2 additional for use on cars. When received, I attempted to install on my Promaster but it was several inches too short to meet the width of my vehicle. I contacted customer service and was told that because I had ordered this item online, I would have to pay return shipping, which is only $3 less than the product price. Prior to chatting with customer service, I had checked the website again to see if I had been negligent. I looked at the windshield covers available and selected one for ClassB/C motorhomes, which are many times built on Promaster chassis. Since the etrailer website retains my vehicle info, it prompted that I was looking at a product that would not fit, and offered an alternative of what I had just ordered and found too short. I mentioned this to the Customer Service rep, who acknowledged he had heard that from other customers and had requested a website update. He stated the website had not been updated because of many other updates needed. Since the cost of returning the cover was nearly the same as the original purchase price, I cancelled the return and will find someone with a sedan who can use this. I am extremely disappointed with etrailer response in this instance. I have made other purchases from this company and always been impressed with business practices.
