Our dance studio has a link in the dress code to purchase these shoes from Discount Dance, and I have since looked to this online store for other purchases for my daughter. Finding what we needed was easy! I am ordering her current size and one to grow into. I also appreciate the opportunity to review previous purchases, so I can know what size she grows into next.

The website was fine. You don’t have enough leg warmer options and the shoes are where the shipping was more expensive than I thought it was gonna be but everything is so whatever.

I've used Discount Dance in previous years, and I've always been pleased with the selection. I needed a nude undergarment to go under my costumes for quick changes, and the selection was again fantastic. The pricing was exactly what I was looking for, and I will be sure to order from them again.

I order from Discount Dance for the Capizio Hamini Ballet shoes every year. I don’t order very much else. I used to order more from the company, but I find it easier to make my purchases through revolution.

I really do think everything was overpriced for a discount store. I would've expected tights to be less than $10 for women, ballet shoes to be 15. Though most of the leotards were decently priced, too many were out of stock for me to be able to make the most of that.

I ordered two pairs of half shoes, as I wasn't sure which style I would prefer. There was only one picture of each style, so it was hard to compare. I thought the difference was that one had a strap across the top while the other did not, but I see now that they were just being worn differently in the pictures. The real difference is that the toe box is shaped completely differently: given that the toe box is pretty much the entire shoe, that's very important information that I would've liked to have! I definitely wish there was a top down view available of both shoes so that I could've immediately known which to pick and not had to go through the hassle of returning one of them. I'm also frustrated that there wasn't consistency between photos for how the elastic was worn, given that it works the same way for both shoes. Overall, my shipping experience was fine, and I know it's probably Capezio that provides the photos, but I'm still frustrated. I'm also disappointed by the lack of leotard selection here. I used to look through hundreds of leotards on this site and find really unique and fun ones. They had interesting strap patterns, lace backs, or even front zips. Now the most unique style I could find was a halter top. I'm confused as to where all of the variety and options went: I would have bought at least one leotard if there were any interesting ones available. One final note: my shipping notice was inside my bag when it arrived, as expected, but so was another person's: I can see their order, and their full name and address. This seems like a security issue, and I'm worried about my information being sent to other buyers. In the past, I've loved using and recommending discountdance to people, and this is the first time when I feel like the site really didn't have what I needed, both in terms of information, and options.

Bought 2 pairs of shoes, one ballet one jazz, size 7,5 both. Jazz pair was good quality, fits great. The ballet pair was very small. The sizes for this one is way off. They don’t offer exchanges so I had to return and pay for shipping even though the mistake wasn’t mine. If you buy from there be aware there might be issues with sizing. Costumer service was polite, didn’t even address the size problem I reported.

The website itself is a little janky and not super aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy my shopping experience on Capezio and Bloch more, but the prices here are just so much better!
