The filtering to narrow items is excellent, even in my case of sourcing parts for an evo era completely custom chopper that is a blend of multiple models and some custom original parts made just for my bike. In fact your database structure is so good is what I recommend to other online sellers to look at to see how proper filtering and organization is done, since it seems the biggest sellers have worthless filtering. However, your photos and descriptions could definitely use improvement, that is where the big guys shine, but it is because their vendors are the ones creating and posting the listing. I recommend reaching out to your brands and distributors to see what they can do to maximize your item details. The other thing is shipping, i know you have free, but when I'm 62 miles away and free shipping is 2-3 days, that's tough. Especially since I remember the days of ordering by 9 pm (maybe even 10) and getting it free the following day. I'm don't know how much of your volume is within 400-500 miles, but I bet it is enough to justify using Spee-Dee as a carrier. I managed logistics for a mainly eCommerce business in New Hope, MN for 5 years, we shipped not only in the US, but a little worldwide, we used FedEx, USPS, and Spee-Dee as carriers, we averaged about 200 packages daily 5 days a week, and Spee-Dee was typically 50-75% less and almost everywhere the next day. And not sure if it has since changed, but they had no oversize surcharges except over 75 lbs or 8 ft length. While the days of amazon prime equaling 2 days free, there is still a major emphasis on as soon as, which was something I often told people about if they weren't DK customers a decade ago. I apologize for the long diatribe, but I truly hope it reaches people that care about improvement and have the power to do so.
