I bought a new car stereo, but did not opt for the pre-wired wiring harness. It was a little intimidating, but the directions were almost perfect for explaining exactly what the manufacturer labels matched up to with the Crutchfield vehicle specific wiring harness. There was one wire from the manufacturer that was not labeled the way Crutchfield's instructions said it would be, but it was probably a change from the manufacturer. Wolf from Crutchfield was super helpful in pointing out what I should do. I also called again the next day when it was time to put the assembled wiring harness and stereo in the car and got Wolf again. Still super helpful and pointed out what I was missing after explaining where I was stuck.
All in all I was super pleased with the customer service and everything is working as it should be. There is one thing weird about the stereo, but that isn't Crutchfield's fault. There is an option to turn on the rear camera when you're not in reverse, but the stereo tells me it can't find a signal. It works just fine when in reverse though. Not a deal breaker.
