Site Experience FeedbackJul 15, 2025
Overall, I was able to order the playground set I wanted for our church. The website said that if we were tax exempt we needed to register as tax-exempt, which I didn't have a problem with. Then I needed to email them our tax-exempt letter. However, what the website didn't explain was that if we were in NC we had to pay the tax first and then file to have it returned to us. I only learned that from chatting with one of their reps (Sean). I was a bit frustrated b/c I didn't get a reply to my email or text messages asking what the next step was to order after I filed as tax exempt. It took Sean a while to answer me b/c he was busy w/ another customer (which I can understand). The bottom line is that the website should explain that, if you are ordering from a state that doesn't allow them to w/hold the sales tax (and they should list those states), then you have to pay the full amount as listed (including the tax) and then file w/ the state to have the tax refunded (which is what we do anyway). Overall, I had a positive experience, but I could have saved a lot of time had I had the tax info on the website ahead of time.
