I bought a BAL tire mount so that I could mount my spare tire under my camper. I wasn’t sure which one to order so I called the manufacturer and was told which one to buy. I searched for that online and found the best price at Camping World and ordered it. Upon delivery, I realized that the box was damaged so I carried it into my living room and opened it to find that the inside of the box had ripped apart and that one of the mounting brackets had fallen down to opposite end of the box. This caused scratching of the other mounting bracket. I wasn’t concerned about the scratches as it was going to be installed under the camper anyways. After measuring the height of the mounting bracket I realized that it was going to hang too far down so I contacted Camping World about returning it. I was told that I could return it by shipping it back but that I would have to pay for return shipping. The other option was to return it to a Camping World store. That was a better option for me as there is a store near my house. I took it in and was refunded my purchase price.

1st: I wanted to order through & pick up at a store; 2nd: I was totally unhappy with my phone experience!: 3rd: I was told to call another out of state store for answers to my questions (which I did) and if what I was looking at would work, I could have it shipped from that store to the nearest store to me. The out of state store needed to speak to our local store, so I had to call the local store to have them all the out of state store; 4th: I had to leave a message for a retur call. I did NOT receive a return call; and 5th: I gave up & ordered on-line in hopes I won't run into issues. Now let's see how long it takes to receive and if I run into problems. in the meantime, we cannot use the toilet in our camper. NOT happy with my first time dealing with Campers World right now!

Just purchased stairs and they arrived damaged and will not allow me to exchange or offer credit. Instead, they referred me to the manufacturer. This is not the manufacturers fault. Steps are still usable, but they creek because there is a slight bow at the end and pins do not lineup properly. I had to force them with pry bar strength to install them. I find this unacceptable.
