I would never buy anything from camping world again. I made a purchase and on the checkout page it still said free shipping. And that was the review page before I click the submit in order button. Then when the final order page came up after submitting it, along with my email, it said that I had around $138 for two day shipping. This was in the evening Alaska time, I called later on in the morning Alaska time the next day and spoke with a customer service representative who put me on hold. She came back and told me that it had already been assigned to shipping and so she could not reverse the order. conveniently while I was on the phone with her a FedEx and camping world.com shipping notification came through, as if somebody had entered that or submitted it for shipping while I was on the phone. I had initially called with two options, give me the free shipping or just cancel my order. I understand camping world.com has shipping costs, but that was not advertised to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. this young woman was quite testy with me and told me that I was wrong and that I would have to submit a screenshot of what that page looked like in order for her to believe me. I asked her “who takes screenshots before they hit the submit order button?“. For the most part, she called me a liar and told me I was wrong. I had sent two emails to the CEO with that lame advertisement at the bottom about emailing the CEO with any problems. What a gimmick. I will never order from camping world again. All I wanted was a cancellation of the order. I was not seeking free shipping. I did not believe that it was already into shipping as that came through while I was on my first phone call. The fact that that second woman and the supervisor was testing with me when I was nothing but polite, was completely ridiculous.
