No communcation!

We ordered a Thomas Payne Signature RV Swivel Glide Recliner
Item #153926 from the Camping World website and it said it ships out in a few days and then i made the purchase for almost $700.
I did not receive any confirmation emails at all and no tracking number or any shipment information, i patiently waited for emails, after days i called. I ordered this product on November 21, 2025 and here it is December 7th and still have not received the shipment. I ordered this chair because i needed it for my elderly Father and trusted them to deliver this by the dates they promised and did not receive it, i trusted them and they failed to deliver and did not communcate at all.
I was so upset with this whole process because its been over 2 weeks that i ordered the same exact chair on Amazon and they had it at my door step in 2 days!
I put in a cancelation on this order and they emailed back stating that it cannot be cancelled due to its been shipped. Now i have paid for 2 chairs when i only needed one chair.
This whole process has been extremely aggravating and all because Camping World does not communicate and send emails and or tracking information as a courtesy to their customers. I highly recommend to anyone that you DO NOT ORDER anything from company that they do not stock and ship themselves because they take your money quickly on the same day and do not allow you to cancel and does not communicate with their customers!
The whole attitude on the phone with their Reps is "well this is coming from an outside vendor" and does not take accountability for the terrible customer service yet they are taking a markup profit and not sending communcation themselves.
Order the same product on Amazon and you will have it at your doorstep in 2 days and perfect communcation with courteous tracking letting you know every step of the way!
This is why Amazon is beating the pants off of the competition.
(I will say that the customer Reps i spoke with Amanda, Bonnie, and Frank are kind and professional Reps and in no way does this reflect negatively upon them, they did an excellent job as Reps)
So to recap: The problem is their estimated shipping time they publish right beside the product at check out is deceptive and vague with no ETA. If they would have been honest and said ETA shipment to your door is 2 weeks, i would have appreciated and respected that, but they didnt and they don't because they dont want to risk losing their order which tells you their priority is their profits over their customers.
They provided absolutley no courtesy comfirmation emails, tracking emails, zero, zilch, NADA!
And after your aggravation of being left in the dark and having no answers or info about did they receive my order? Are they processing my order? Are they shipping my order? When will it be here? Not receiving any emails i abandoned this order and cancelled it, ordered off Amazon, had it on my door step in 2 days, they did however send one email stating the order cannot be cancelled. Now i have 2 chairs when i only wanted one.
The takeaway lesson for me and for you if your wise is to never order from Camping World again, unless they comp me in some way for my troubles and show some semblence of caring for their customers whatever they sell can be bought on Amazon with blazing fast shipping and cancellation guarantees if not fully satisfied.
I've had to call 4 times to get any information at all, each time spending at least 20 min on the phone with them to only to be told vague things with no resolution or offers to comp me for my troubles. Stay away! You've been warned!
