I found the AGM deep cycle high Ah battery I wanted online & called the local store. They told me they'd have to order it & I'd pay shipping. He said he had Interstate batteries in stock, same Ah rating & $100 cheaper. I purchased them over the phone, & picked them up, however the dimensions were not the same, it is a flooded battery, & has a shorter warranty. They were too tall. I returned them & ordered what I want on line, but there is the question of the core charge. The retail store waived the core charge because I brought my old batteries in. The refund did not include a core charge, so they have my core. The fact that I can't apply the core charge to my online purchase is irritating. I know the online batteries have a core charge built into the price & there's nothing I can do about it, because you can't return a battery through shipping. Why can't the retail location apply the core charge to an online transaction? Why are the retail & online stores two different entities?
