For $129, I expected some weight to the product and for the lampshade to be more substantial than a glorified piece of paper. This lamp weighed virtually nothing and could easily be toppled over. For the price, I was really shocked at how the quality did not reflect how much I paid. Very disappointed. I love the design and that's why I splurged for the item, but when I received it and it weighed nothing and the lampshade was so subpar...(esp the lampshade!) I would be wary of ordering from this company again.

I bought this as a gift for my sister; she lives a log cabin and was looking for something more durable than a comforter. She liked the design and was thrilled at the size and how it fit her bed.

I love your products, have many and will, most certainly, buy more. But this on line purchsse was a nightmare, which continued for 2 days. I kept being tossed about and repeatedly had to start all over. I normally order by phone through your catalogue, but have misplaced it so I needed to do it on line. As I said earlier, I'll, without a doubt, continue to buy your products but will try whole-heartedly to avoid doing so on line!

Black Forest is mostly high quality and their service is great. Easy to order online and all items have arrived well packaged and protected. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the Wildlife footprint wooden plaque I purchased recently. On the back where those long cutouts that are supposed to be used for hanging. I had a horrible time trying to hang that long and heavy plaque while trying to line those holes up with the nails. I was finally able to get two out of the three to somewhat work, and I had to use some innovation to keep it from moving. It should not be that difficult to hang. I was so frustrated that I almost returned it. What happened to just adding a sawtooth small hanger on the back? It made me not want to ever order a wall hanging-a picture, plaque, etc. from Black Forest again if it is going to entail so much time and effort just to hang it up.

I have purchased no less than 6 queen quilts including matching shams and decorative pillows. I have several area rugs and sets of bathroom accessories including dresser hardware. I really enjoy your products. They wear and wash well. I have been using them for the past 8 to 10 years. Ordering is easy and hassle free. I usually receive my orders from 3 to 5 days from date of order. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the product.

I have been shopping at Black Forest for years. The quality is second to none, although a little expensive. However, I have learned that quality, user friendly online, experience, and a good selection is worth it. I love the fact that you see very, very few items sold out and I have NEVER been disappointed in anything I have ordered from BFD! And that's close to 30 years, BFD is rustic to perfection! Rustic says home. It says cozy, And that is what BFD delivers...quality, home, cozy!

The picture was not as colorful as I expected but I still like it. The frame was raw wood but I can stain it. Overall, I LIKE the picture.

I really liked the Vintage Lantern Table Lamp, but the shade was crushed on one side in shipping, I assume, and the shade holder has a misshapen hole drilled so that it won’t screw on correctly.

We love the rust cabin bear decor. Alot of times, when ordering online, things are less than expected. However, all items were of great quality!!! We absolutely love everything and will continue to order from Black Forest Decor as well as recommend them!!!

Using this catalog and web site has been enjoyable and productive. My husband co-chairs a Ducks Unlimited committee and is always looking for items to use in their annual auction. Prices have to be low enough that a profit can happen, so reviewing the sales at this site is worth his time.

It was so easy to use!!! Which is #1 why? I was able to purchase from your company & Many choices you offer!! I do wish (2) things!!😊 (#1) I tried to find & buy your log pillow!! That was displayed with other bedding!! The one that looks like a log!! 😊 I couldn't find it anywhere? To purchase?? I put it in my saved area the "sliced wood" log for now! & (#2) Wish you all carried a brown bear 🐻 there is tons of black bears!! Which are beautiful!! Hoping you will carry a pillow? Or rug.or anything with option to choose between both colored bears?? Thank you. For all the quilts & cotton things you "DO" offer!! Love your company!! I absolutely love the items I bought. I did find these on Amazon and I tried 2x to buy the 3 bears. Both times they arrived broken. Then I searched on google and found Block Forest and bought it with another figurine. When it arrived both figures showed up boxed and in a larger box. However, I noticed the box the 3 bears came in is the exact one sent twice from my purchase through Amazon. The seller on Amazon sent it in this box. Not completely sealed, the box is way to thin and the styrofoam is not good quality. I don't know if the Amazon seller is connected to Black Forest but I would suggest Black Forest invest more in sturdy packaging with themselves. They can't control others who buy their stuff and sell it but I protect buyers purchasing items it wouldn't hurt. This purchased worked out well but I have to be honest, I'm a little leery of buying more. If I buy one item will it be boxed and placed in another box or sent in the one box like my Amazon purchase which I had to send back twice as both times it came broken. Nothing I hate more is to have to take up my time to return items that come broken because of cheap, unsealed packaging.

I wanted a window treatment for my office. I found what I wanted -it was a window valance from Black Forest Decor on Amazon- Amazon said that they could not deliver to my area- so I looked up Black Forest on the internet-found what I wanted and ordered it- my order came really quickly!

I think Black Forest Decor sells special itmes; however, the brand is not well known. I was introduced to the website by an elder friend. I think young ppl are not aware of this brand.
