I was excited to try thinking this Brand would provide a higher level than store brands. The products I ordered do not have a pleasant smell , the smell resembles more herbal / medicinal smell . The presentation looks cheap and the plastic low quality. My original shipment never receipt had to call customer service and yes they resolved it and re sent the order which was received in time. I would not recommend it at this time if anything changes I might revise my review

I've been purchasing products from Aveda for 20 years. The points accumulation and use has been one of the big downfalls of Aveda. This is proven to be true in this experience also. Your pricing makes it impossible to use the point to buy products that we use the most. I understand that you want people to try new products, but rewards being applied to something that we don't really want or wouldn't really use is the opposite of a reward and how a reward should be seen by a company. I imagine you want us coming back for more purchases, not alienating us at this point in the process. So then I tried to play your game, use 7000 points to get $25 discount on $40 of products. Unfortunately, you don't really have many products that are at that price point… Which seems very strategic and slimy. Make a reward able to purchase something that you don't have a price for... that sucks and seems counter to what I thought was the ethos of the brand. So now I purchased something I don't really need and still had to pay $16 because I couldn't apply the $10 off Code but I also bought... This was a pretty terrible experience.

Continue to find the process for using my membership points to purchase products and get credits and free gifts completely baffling. I am also frustrated that available has such a short turnover for each of their product offerings. I use a product I like for a year or so, and then it is no longer available and I have to choose a different product. In most cases, the alternative new product is not really what I want. I want the old product.

I often experience a hitch with the website. It either doesn’t recognize a saved default payment or doesn’t recognize a saved default address. Also, I dislike how, when you go to a certain category to look at a certain product, then try to continue with an additional product, it takes you back to the category every time instead of just leaving you there. So my point is you have to go back and check the category, plus the sub category, every single time. Other than that, the products are well described, and, as always, I will continue to use them because I have for 20 years now, at least, and will continue.

I love Aveda products and have. Een using them for over 20 years. The botanical kinetics lotion is the only one (and I have tried everything) that doesn’t make me break out. I have super sensitive skin so I have to be careful. Sad that my local store in the mall closed, but I can still do delivery
