I went to a retail store today, but it was at a the institute salon (I live in Birmingham, Alabama, and there are no retail stores except for the institute salon & spa here) so I could not redeem my 7000 points to get $25 off a $40 order. The website itself is great. Easy to search products. I will say that the rewards redemption is disappointing. I have SO many points and I should be able to use them to pay for a shampoo but you only offer three different shampoos. I'm happy to donate to charity but you've really been stingy in letting us use rewards.

Also, since I spent more than $95, the site never asked me what 'free gift(s)' were to be included and/or picked. Great website, unfortunate that the membership expired as I do a lot of shopping w/ Aveda at the local salon. I ordered today, online, as the mbrship expired. Disappointing but glad that I was able to start a new one. Also, had signed up for email w/ a 15% discount, but had to go and find the code, it wasn't automatically applied. Extra effort for really no reason.
