Post-Delivery FeedbackFeb 10, 2026
I would take full advantage of their payment plan because you can snag really nice gear in affordable fashion. I would be careful on getting immediate delivery because oftentimes I have found an experienced that the shipping companies dropped the ball and if you need something delivered overnight, maybe not the best plan because it seems like it's mostly a crap shoot whether that's going to happen or not. Availability is usually okay but sometimes can be difficult on certain items. I do like the fact that there are some occasional exclusives. You will get hammered with emails after you become a customer. Be prepared to do a lot of unsubscribing. The return process is okay, but I don't know that there is an ideal return process aside from Guitar Center allowing you to just bring it to your local store to return it. There is no local store for AMS. My most recent guitar arrived in a box that looked like it had been shot with cannons. Fortunately, the hard case took most of the abuse and the guitar was not broken in two. I have not gotten to do a setup on it yet so I'm not sure how it will be but I can tell you the action out of the case was sky high. It would not have been playable in the condition it arrived. That is another thing, AMS is shipping from a warehouse and they are not doing any setup or any inspection on what they send you. So whatever arrives is what you get. You cannot choose which specific one you want for any item you're ordering. Most times I have been fortunate but there have been a few that didn't go so well. Overall I have no real complaints.
