My amp is dying slowly. I need to replace it. Soon. I've been shopping online and brick and mortar. I know what I want. Can't find it within my budget. Stumbled across an open box deal on zZounds.com. Did a little more research and was pleased with my results. Made the purchase. The unit arrived a day early. Took it out the box and my house foundation was shaking at 3 on the volume knob (very responsive EQ). I had a Spinal Tap moment: But it goes to eleven (if you don't have gray hair, ignore that remark). Anyways, a day or so later I took it to the church to open it up a little bit more to get a feel for the amp. To my surprise the B and E strings were distorted when I played them. The speaker was probably a floor model and was damaged by a customer. I immediately made the request for a Return Authorization and Replacement. This was done on a weekend. The first business day they had already responded and sent me the RA# with instructions. Once FedEx had scanned the box into their system, zZounds immediately sent me the replacement. It happened so fast there were skidmarks in my driveway. I took the unit down to the church and ran it through her paces. It's the Perfect Amp for me: On/Off switch, 3 band EQ, earphone jack, direct out and tone shaping, and I'm not sure which is heavier, my bass or my amp. It's checkin All The Boxes And Then Some! It's been a long time since I felt like a customer. zZounds I will recommend you and share this story as often as people compliment the amp.
