I love Yankee Candle products. More than Bath & Body Works or any other brand. I even stopped buying B&BW candles and strictly buy Yankee Candle only. That being said, the online process of purchasing from YC is sometimes a bit of a chore. Their website is sometimes so slow, I almost forget what I clicked on by the time it comes up. The pages frequently reload in the middle of shopping or checking out. And very often, I put things in my cart, then have to tend to something, come back maybe an hour later, and multiple items in my cart are sold out and I have to remove them. It would be nice if they would indicate when an item was very low in stock so we might decide to go ahead and check out before tending to something else. I really wish they would have someone design a top notch Yankee Candle app and make the process much more streamlined for us shoppers. Again, I LOVE the brand. I love the rewards program, although it could use a little updating as well. And they are pretty quick to get orders shipped and good about replacing broken items etc. But the technology needs to be updated, there is some work to be done there. But I don’t think they would regret it since so many of us are avid app shoppers and we would be thrilled to see them launch one. Plus, the quicker and easier the shopping process is, the more likely we would shop even more often.
