I have an account and get all of my supplements by mail order. I usually call in and talk to a live agent, but today I got only a busy signal. I attempted to add a new supplement through the Vitamin Shoppe website. I started at live chat with Nicole. When I sent my messages, it said they were not sent. There were no messages from Nicole. I got out and back to try the chat again. Then extra messages from Nicole asking where I was appeared and showed she closed the chat. Apparently she could not see that I was typing. Most modern chat interfaces allow the parties to see that the other party is typing. Why could she not see this? Why did I not get her chat texts until the chat had been closed? This behavior is very problematic. Please check it out.
Then I attempted to shop and order online. It did not see my account. Apparently, it created a new account using the Gmail account I rarely use. I tried to manage my account to make sure it has my Hotmail account rather than my Gmail account, but could not find any way to do this. By now, I am extremely frustrated. I placed the order. It did not have my credit card on file (another indication that I may have created a new, auto-delivery account). I completed the step to tell others why I am purchasing this supplement. After I pressed <send>, there was no indication my comment was uploaded or received. Very frustrating! I completed a long survey, of which these comments are part.
