I recently ordered a ton of stuff from thred-up and I mean at 1st the thing that bothered me was that I could only add 35 items.. then I had a 20 min countdown til my items I wanted would expire and leave my cart. So that was a bit frustrating, but I figured out quickly that is the importance of liking the items. Then it was a much easier smoother process. So then my order comes, tracking was right on and I guess since my order was rather large it came in different packages, different days. But no real issue there. The 2nd thing that was disappointing was when I received my items... everything was ok. There were a few mismarked items that were waay to small, that is to be expected. BUT, the Jeans... every single pair I ordered were specifically NOT skinny jeans, but that is exactly what arrived in my order... not just 1 or 2... All 7 pairs.. skinny jeans.. I was not happy. Thankfully their customer service agents are phenomenal and she quickly resolved my issue. She didn't require me to return them, just reimbursed me for the jeans, which I bought more (had a much better experience) and I was able to donate the unwanted jeans to someone in need at the shelter. The bundle idea is great for finicky shoppers who don't have a time crunch... they can add to their bundle at their leisure. Since they are constantly getting new inventory its a smart option. Lastly the 20 min shopping cart limit does extend to 2 hrs after 1st purchase. But again those like buttons are the key to finding and securing the items you want. Conclusion, I am now an avid shopper here. I just love the variety, and ALL jeans should be sold gently used.. they are just much more comfortable. A quiet perk: if there was ever an item of clothing you loved but it got ruined or your best friend forgot to return it after borrowing. There is a good chance its doppelganger might be on Thred-up...You gotta check it out if you haven't already.
