Hello, I must 1st say I've been in the beauty industry my entire career most recently a GM for Ulta. I know this line inside put. Samples are extremely important with new items on the market. I bought my glow because of a recent sample I received. I was interested in the new juicy lipsticks and I specifically chose them as my sample for this purchase. I'm really liking this juicy line but we all know Samples generates sales! I wanted the samples to choose my shade as that cuts out returns of used products. The lady who emailed me 1st said they weren't offering the samples at the time of my purchase, I then emailed her a screenshot of the offer of the two samples anyone who ordered them gets to choose. She then came back and said I didn't choose any samples at the time of my purchase and I absolutely know I did as I was extremely excited to finally try them without having to purchase and return them over and over until I find my correct shade. So now, I will return
my entire purchase and never buy from this company again. It's a shame as someone who wears a full face of makeup daily and I'm a walking billboard for any cosmetic company. Not to mention all the opinions I'm asked daily and recommendations for skin care and makeup. Tarte was prestige in my opinion but now I've completely changed my opinion of this company all over free samples!!! The loss will be far more than your gain of taking a few minutes to throw me the samples in the mail. To us in the business and the makeup "junkies" samples equal sales and they are extremely important. I really wanted to try that juicy lipstick line. I will be going to the post office on my day off Tuesday to mail these back for a return.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. It would have been much easier for your rep to have said, No worries we'll get those out to you, not say you weren't offering samples then when confronted that you indeed are offering them, say Oh you didn't choose any samples!!
