Are you kidding? The same costume in-store cost me 47.99+tax while online it costs 59.99+tax? I only needed to switch the size but the store doesn't have more than the one costume so I had to do a return and refund plus buy online rather than a simple exchange or be able to exchange it for one shipped to the store (like other businesses do).
I'm also rather displeased about how understocked the stores seem to be since I had to shop online in the first place for an a child's costume (which they have advertised but not in stock on the shelves) and an adult costume that only had one on the shelf (after visiting a few times over the last couple weeks to hopefully be able to get the right size but there was never any added to the single costume available, along with never adding the child's costume). It's a good thing the shipping was free because I was additionally annoyed there wasn't an option to ship to the store for free, nor would I be able to pick them up because the stores are so understocked 🙄
A few years ago, Spirit Halloween had EVERYTHING. Now it's a condensed version of what it used to be, even putting up barriers in the smallest location I've seen because the stock doesn't take up the whole store anymore.
All that being said, I'm glad I could find the correct size online in an easy to use manner.
