Issues with shipping

I placed an order for a red mini skirt that I needed by a certain date and found that the standard shipping would get it to me with a few days to spare, so that's what I selected. When that estimated date came and went I contacted customer service because the order tracker was completely unhelpful. The associate I spoke to was nice and found out that it hadn't even been processed yet, it had been completely forgotten. She placed a new order for me with complimentary overnight shipping, which was kind. But lo and behold, the day before I'm leaving to go out of town, I call customer service and the package still hasn't processed even with overnight shipping. The package arrived while I was out of town and luckily someone was able to grab it for me. I called customer service to ask if I could get any sort of compensation for the delays and the fact that the order evidently might have never shipped if I hadn't called. They said I could only get and money back if I returned the item, which I understand but was still frustrating. And after all of that I washed the red skirt (hand wash and cold water, as instructed), and it came out hot pink. I knew it was a cheap skirt, and that it was made with cheap fabric, but the fact that I paid $30 and it's not even the color advertised anymore after ONE wash is so disappointing. All in all, this experience sucked from end to end and it doesn't make me want to ever order online from Spencer's again, and certainly not recommend it.
