I returned my item at a local retail store. I didn't know we had any local Spencer's stores. I thought they had all closed down, so I made the purchase online. I then found out we had 2 local stores, so I returned the item in person. The employees at Spencer's were extremely friendly and very helpful with my return. Even though I had all the paperwork that came with my shipped item, there was no date of purchase anywhere on the paperwork. The date was required to be entered into the system. Because we had since had fraud on our bank account, we had changed the account number and had a new card, so I want able to just look it up in my account. I had to leave the store, call my bank, and go through hoops just to get the date of purchase. Later, I realized I could have just looked at the confirmation emails I had received at the time of purchase. After we got the date of purchase and the amount, everything went smoothly. I haven't shopped at Spencer's for years, but I did find a couple of other items that I purchased while I was in the store.
