I placed an order for Mother's Day. I had placed the order later than anticipated and understood with production, it may not arrive by Mother's Day, which was due to my own fault. However, I paid extra for expedited shipping for $15.95 and purchased the shipping insurance for $2.99. With the expedited shipping, the item should have been derived in 5-7 after production, which put the estimated arrival date, with production time included, was only a couple days after Mother's Day. Come Middle of June, over 6 weeks of having placed the order, I had yet to receive the item. It was very frustrating trying to track this item every day to check for updates, but there seldom being one. At one point, there was a two week stretch with zero tracking updates posted.
I had reached out during the midst of the shipping expressing my extreme frustration and dissatisfaction with the entire process and was given a blanket statement of "While we are located in the US, our items are crafted in China and therefore must be shipped overseas" and instructed me that I needed to keep waiting. While they did attempt to rectify the situation with a mere $7 refund, it didn't feel to me that the situation was resolved in any capacity, as I had paid more than double that for expedited shipping and even more for the insurance. I was still incredibly frustrated by the entire situation and felt disregarded with a generic excuse attempting to absolve any responsibility from it.
The item finally arrived, on June 28th, roughly two months after placing the order and paying for expedited shipping. It took away much of the joy of the gift for my wife, intended for Mother's Day, two months after her day.
With that being said, the quality of the product was good and I am happy with the overall craftsmanship of the item, but that is about the only good thing I have to say of the whole experience.
Again, I understood placing the order, that it would not arrive on time, but two days versus 2 months is a drastic difference, especially when paying extra for quicker shipping. I will not be ordering from this company again (unless I order 6 months in advance to ensure timely delivery), nor will I recommend to anyone to place an order with this shop. There was minimal acceptance of responsibility from the company and their refund felt as it was just a "doing due diligence" to try to take care of the customer rather than the right thing.
