I am extremely dissatisfied with SmartPak’s customer care and warranty support. Despite advertising a 10-year warranty and claiming high customer satisfaction, SmartPak failed to stand behind their policy. After spending over $10,000 in 2025 alone, my account was flagged and nearly all of my blankets (all but one out of 16–19) were removed from warranty coverage without clear justification.
Customer service repeatedly stated they “cannot compare accounts,” which is unreasonable given the circumstances, as the blankets are all the same sold to all customers and there is no clause or exspections listed anywhere
I followed all provided instructions, yet my blankets were still failed. No written return requirements exist—only verbal guidance—despite my compliance. I washed each blanket thoroughly, twice, with scent boosters yet they were still rejected.
When I requested the photos allegedly provided by the returns team to explain the failures, customer care was unable or unwilling to share them. This lack of transparency, combined with inconsistent and dismissive communication, is unacceptable. Based on both my experience and what my clients have been told, it appears returned blankets are discarded regardless. Other customers are told to discard, or donate or use their old blankets as a spare while I'm required to do the extra steps of washing boxing and returning all blankets.
Given the amount spent and the way I was treated, SmartPak’s handling of this matter is a complete failure of customer service. I will not recommend SmartPak to clients or colleagues going forward
