I complained to Scuba.com numerous times. My complaints were not simply about the Swinline rafts not being delivered on time…My complaint was also about your company’s misleading advertising and blatant misrepresentations – Here is what occurred...As per your on-line website and as per my conversation with 1 of your employee, 1 of these items would be “next day” delivery to arrive on June 24 and the other on 6/25. As per my conversation with another Scuba.com employee, BOTH rafts would arrive on Friday 6/25. Neither was truthful.
I placed an order with your company on Wednesday 6/24 for 2 Swimline rafts.
The delivery date was posted on line as next day delivery (6/25).
I also contacted you 800# to ensure that I would get the rafts “next day” and you confirmed “YES” the blue one would arrive on 6/25 but the pink raft would not arrive until Fri 6/26 because the rafts were being shipped out of different warehouses.
Yesterday 6/25 my family was supposed to receive 1 of the rafts but the raft was NOT delivered as promised.
At 4:06 pm yesterday (6/25) I contacted your 800 # again and your employee informed me that the rafts were not sent out on 6/24 as advertised…rather the rafts were not sent out until yesterday. This was not even accurate as the tracking history shows that your company did not even create a shipping “label” until last night.
During this call I also reaffirmed that “yes” I would receive both of these items TODAY (6/26) – that was also not true as per your UPS tracking history.
The tracking history now states the package will NOT arrive until TOMORROW 6/27 by 9pm – seriously ???
These misleading and misrepresentations made by your company are super concerning to me.
I ordered this merchandise for my family who is on vacation in Betheny and the only reason I ordered these 2 raft from your company Scuba.com is because you advertised “next day” delivery. I could have ordered these items from multiple other companies and paid overnight shipping not shipping to arrive 3 days later.
Customer Service finally responded to my complaints and issued a credit for the shipping - they also said they would check into providing additional discounts for the merchandise - unfortunately these rafts were ordered for a vacation (1 week) and my family missed out on 3 days of fun and excitement these Swimline rafts would have provided. I have not heard back on any additional credits being made due to the issues I addressed.
