The experience of buying online and in store from Roots is incredibly frustrating. Here's why. Sweatsuits are not intuitively listed together. When I choose a colour and size of a sweatshirt, the matching sweatpants could be suggested to automatically add. This would obviously require sizing and colour ways to be available in both skus, which is almost never the case. It's like a hunt to find a matching set. I have tried to make this recent purchase twice just this season. The first time my cart mysteriously emptied, and when I went back to start the hunt of adding 6 seperate items the ones I had selected were no longer abailable. The second time the payment processor would not accept the card that I just successfully completed an order with. My nieces and nephew love their sweatsuits, and the quality of the pieces is what keeps this Christmas tradition alive. But I dread the ordering process every year.

Another Disappointed Roots Fan!

Overall, I was disappointed at Roots products. For the styles that are designed for only women, the material for those sweatpants is so thin, compared to the past years. After a few washes, I am sure that it will get even thinner. For the styles where the materials are thick enough to keep warm, they are designed for unisex (both men and women sizes combined). Yet, they are extremely loose and big. I usually wear a L women size. When I ordered the sweatpants in L size, they are huge. Luckily, the store staff allowed me to exchange for the size M when it said "final sale - no exchange or refund'. Yet, when the M size arrived and I wore for 1 day, the sweatpants are still extremly big and loose on me (which I was surprised). It is extremely hard to order the products online without trying. Yet, the stores don't even have them. Catch 22! I stopped ordering for more sweatpants even though I needed a couple more.

First off Leah at customer service was excellent however I ordered 4 cozy packs and a pair of sweatpants on sale. I received a email stating part of order cancelled and not knowing which item I had to phone cs. The cosy packs were fine but no stock on sweatpants ( really roots) maybe price to low however I was not offered a replacement just a 15 coupon off reg price which I deleted by mistake. I feel a replacement should of been offered

I ordered Mens gloves in black as a gift and a zip hoodie for my husband. When the delivery showed up, only the hoodie was there. I went on my account to check out when the gloves would come. The gloves were still in my cart and a message saying the quantity for this order could not be delivered. I ordered one so I thought you sold out before being shipped so I purchased gloves from another vendor. It is difficult to return with this vendor. The next day the gloves from Roots showed up. So, now I have spent money on two gloves that didn’t need to happen. Why was the message saying they won’t be delivered in my cart and then they were. The gloves are lovely but I’m really upset that this caused me to buy an extra set somewhere else.
