My dissatisfaction is not with Roots or their product, but is associated with with ordering online and then dealing with Fedex throughout the delivery process.
Ordering online was a nightmare.
The payment for my selected item was repeatedly refused. I kept being told that my shipping address was invalid since it didn't match the address to which my card is registered! The only way I was able to confirm payment was to ask them to ship to my home address which was not convenient for me at this time.I am living temporarily living in a different city and was hoping to have my order shipped to where I actually reside! I only persisted with the ordering process because I really wanted that leather bag!
Fedex notified me with a delivery date estimate, which came and went without further notification. During this time , I travelled to my home address as often as I could to check on delivery before I contacted Fedex for further information and was told that the delivery would be the next day, sometime before 8pm at night!
However, I was given the option of delivery at a Staples store near my home address within the next few days, which I thankfully accepted. Fedex did finally contact me three days later that my package had arrived there.
I'm absolutely thrilled with the leather purse that I purchased; a perfect reward for completing a tedious process!
However, in future, I will avoid on-line ordering and shipping from Roots.
