I was looking for some comfortable clothing to wear up north. So I went on Roots website. And found a number of items that I love the colour and the texture of. Even ordered a few gifts that are very nice. They came very quickly and the best thing is I even saved 30%. Great order experience with order again without hesitation.

I loved Roots for years and still have a couple favourite sweatshirts I bought in UNI 25 years ago. When they had a sale I had to scoop a few new things. The sweats are just as cozy and thick as I remember and the knit sweater are heritage and just feel good.

Fast shipping. Regular updates on shipping status is very helpful. Product did not live up to expectations but not enough to return. The zipper on the hoody feels cheap. The joggers are okay. Not super impressive but fits comfortably enough. I would return both if I had paid regular price.

The website didnt show the deduction if the gift card on checkout. It looked like I still owed full price. I then tried to pay remsing amount by credit card and was unable t complete. When contacted customer support i was told I would have to purchase another hift card to complete the purchase. Thus was not an efficient resolution. I also couldn't find out how the money would be refunded to the gift card if I gad changed my mind ( which honestly I seriously considered). I ended up buying another gift card? But this has put me off from buying online in the future. Only positive was that I could have it delivered to a store near me, and the staff there were very helpful

Saw an outfit I liked, bought it and it came in a reasonable timeframe. I tried it on, felt okay about the fit and quickly discovered the inside pocket had no stitching where the seam should be (rendering it completely useless). I reached out via the web-chat and when someone finally responded they offered to email me a pre-paid return label which i was told i would receive in 24-48 hours. After checking my email and junk folder everyday for 10 days, I can confirm I never received this email. I went to the retail location at Limeridge Mall in Hamilton, ON and spoke with a sales associate (Sarina) who was extremely helpful and understanding. She told me to bring in the damaged garment and placed a replacement on hold for me. I'm a bit disappointed with this experience as I have been a long-time customer and have been always willing to pay the premium that I've come to expect at Roots. But given the substantial lack of quality control, I will be reconsidering the prospect of purchasing your clothing online going forward. Frankly, this would have been a hard-stop for my business, but Sarina and the staff at the Limeridge location managed to salvage an otherwise frustrating shopping experience.

The quality of clothes is so nice and comfy. Made well and worth the money. I got a jogging set for my daughter and it is cozy and will fit her for a long time. Also the black zip up for her which the fabric is so soft and much nicer then I was expecting!

I was looking to replace a cozy sweatshirt-style onesie that needed to be retired, but as a tall person that is not an easy thing to find, especially in a good quality garment that will stand up to regular wear. Then I came across the Roots Cabin Onesies, and saw that you had both a women's and a men's version. I am female, but I'm tall and have both long legs and a long torso, so typical women's sizing tends to require me to size up by 1-2 sizes in the hopes of finding a comfortable fit. (For reference, I also have a larger bust and matching hips, and am usually a women's XL in tops, and L or XL in bottoms). Add to the the fact that onesie/romper clothing items are often hard to make work when you're tall. For an item like this, comfort is obviously the top priority. I scoured the sizing charts, looked elsewhere online for testimonials (to no avail, sadly), and ultimately I decided to go with the men's Cabin Onesie in an XL. It is oversized and cozy, and I am in love!! The body and leg length is more than adequate (I'm not completely sure whether I could have gone with a Large instead in terms of inseam and body length, but it's possible?). It's not super heavyweight material, but still super cozy and warm - perfect for jumping into after getting home from work, or to lounge in throughout the day on a lazy, snowy weekend. I also grabbed the Dockside Long Sleeve Dress in Varsity Green in an XL, and that was instant love as well. It's quite baggy, but not to the point of looking sloppy. I have since picked up the black version in a L, and that's definitely a better fit while still being relaxed overall. If you're unsure, I would say this definitely fits generously, and you may want to size down for a closer fit. The quality is excellent, and I was surprised to find that there was zero shrinkage after the first wash and tumble dry (I almost wish I could shrink the XL a bit, but I'll live). I honestly don't remember the last time I shopped at Roots (maybe 20+ years ago in my teens, if ever?), but this experience has definitely been a good one and I'm glad I took a chance on both the onesie and dress. Cozy is everything!!

I had ordered a Wallet on Dec 1 and advised it was shipped on Dec 6. Then notified that it was being delivered by Dec 8 however, due to a morning weather is that cleared up by noon the delivery was postponed with no updates provided. It is now Dec 12 and my order has NOT been delivered! I called Customer Service and the agent has offered a 10% coupon for full priced items on my next order for the inconvenience and it was a courier issue. This was actually an insult given the prices of Roots products! You would think as a retail outlet who rly of customers to buy their products they would followup with their delivery service providers and ensure their services coincide with they polices and need to provide excellent customer service however, it was merely lets "past the blame" and try to appease the customer with the 10% off coupon on full price items for future purchases. It is Roots who is responsible to "make it right" for the customer and ensure they provide excellent service to the customer thus this also includes any issue they have with a courier service they pay! Needless to say I am very disappointed with how this was handled and have many Roots products thus is will now change!

The items were in sale, but I couldn't get what I really wanted (out of stock), but I did get an alternative, which will probably be well liked by the recipient (it's a gift for someone who could never afford Roots items - even on sale). There were never any delivery tracking updates available while package in transit. I kept checking, but never saw an update. Eventually the package arrived at the door.
