I received my gift card for becoming a member of ASA. I wanted to use it to get my son a sweatshirt. I kept asking him to go online and pick which one he wanted and like most 21-22 year olds, he continued to delay doing it. Fortunately, I remembered to look at my email and realized that the gift was going to expire within a few days. I decided to go online myself and pick a sweatshirt for him. When I was ready to order, I was unable to figure out how to get my gift card linked with my account. I sent an email to your customer service to ask about it, and they responded immediately and assisted me with locating the card and attaching it to my account. I then questioned if it had to be used towards the purchase of fuel and they assured me that I could use it towards a merchandise purchase. The response from customer service was the quickest response I have ever received from anyone when purchasing something online. I know this sounds silly, but I could also hear the kindness in the persons response even though it was in an email. Very polite. $25 gift card may not be a lot for some but it is to me and I did not want to lose it because it was going to expire. I am very appreciative of the prompt response from customer service, the quick receipt of product......and my son was super happy with my choice of sweatshirt. However, if there is a next time, I am getting a zip-up for myself. : )
