I ordered a 4, dinner sets for a total on 16 sets. The sets shipped to me in two separate cardboard boxes with two sets packed each box.
The individual sets are packed with no protective styrofoam outer shell, and each item in that box has only a single piece of cardboard separating it from other contents. I have never seen such unsafe packing.
On the two outer boxes, nowhere in red was there taped or stamped or hand written in bold the words FRAGILE, DO NOT DROP, HANDLE WITH CARE, PORCELAIN ENCLOSED, or a image of a wine glass. Nothing. Just a plain cardboard box. No words of caution. That is plain stupid.
Just in carrying in the two cartons, I could hear the broken shards of ceramic. Out of the four sets there were 4 broken bowls, four broken bread plates and two broken coffee cups.
I called your very polite customer service. I was told to send you photos to verify my damage claim and there would be a resolution by the end of the day. I sent the photos at 9:33 AM and did not get a response.
But the real kicker is, who sends out porcelain like that?
