I am extremely disappointed with my recent order, Order Number MKS445852.
I ordered four soup mugs as accent pieces for the Garden Harvest Collection. Unfortunately, I was away on vacation when the shipment arrived, so I did not open the package immediately. When I finally did, I was furious to discover that only ONE soup mug had been sent.
I honestly cannot understand how shipping or customer service thought it was acceptable to send a single soup mug when the order was clearly intended to coordinate with a 4-piece place setting. What exactly am I supposed to do with one mug?
What makes this even more frustrating is that no one contacted me to explain the situation, advise that the items were out of stock, or offer any reasonable solution. At the very least, Mikasa could have informed me that only one mug was currently available and offered to honor the same price once additional inventory arrived.
Instead, I received no communication whatsoever. This experience reflects extremely poor customer service and has completely damaged my confidence in shopping with Mikasa again. I cannot recommend a company that handles customer orders this poorly.
I would appreciate an explanation and a resolution to this issue.
