I tried earlier today to make a purchase using a gift card. I came to find that you can only do that if you are paying for something that the card’s balance covers in its entirety. Can’t split and pay with two. There was a workaround to buy a gift certificate with the gift card (and then use that to split the purchase), but it didn’t work out for me today due to other issues. It would be nice to add gift cards to use them up… When I did finally get around the making the purchase with just my credit card, I noticed it said my account had been deactivated. That was unfortunate and wasted some of my time this evening (waiting on an email to reactivate it). There was another issue I just thought of from my browsing earlier today. I was shopping for ammo and reloading supplies. I had passed the threshold for free shipping, but found that there were still hazmat charges for primers and powder. I know that some of the costs for that delivery is likely out of your control, but just wanted to share that that turned me off from purchasing both powder and primers (today and in the past). That extra fee for shipping is the kind of thing that makes me wait to make those purchases when/where they can be avoided. Other than those relatively minor issues, my experience went well. Thank you for being a great resource for outdoorsmen in this country.
