This is about my disappointment regarding my recent order.
My initial order confirmation explicitly included two free gifts: a mascara and a MAC Lipstick in "Ruby Woo." However, I only received the mascara. I suspected a fulfillment error early on, as the subsequent shipping notification omitted the lipstick despite it being part of my confirmed purchase.
Upon checking my email, I was told the Ruby Woo gift was "sold out." This is highly disappointing, as there was no "first-come, first-served" warning or "out of stock" notification during my transaction. I only learned of this after my payment was processed and the package arrived.
This specific free gift was the primary incentive for me to complete the checkout and choose the shipping delivery option. Had I known the item was unavailable, I would not have proceeded with the purchase.
It is unfair to entice customers with a promotion and then fail to honor it after the sale is finalized. I request that MAC team could resolve this by sending a replacement lipstick or providing a credit of equivalent value.
