I normally just go into a MAC store or retailer like Dillard’s or Macy's to stock up on my repeat orders. But every now and then I will do a bulk order online or a single product I’m running low on to order before traveling, etc. -- I was very disappointed (& perhaps I didn't notice last time), and perhaps I am just paying more attention now due to financial strain, but I noticed that since Feb 2024 to current, the studio fix 24hr concealer has skyrocketed from $18 now to $30, a whopping $12 increase. That seems a bit over the top with economic strain pushed onto the customer. Especially when most discounts are on holidays, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, etc. --- it's hard to just get your normal items you’ve been purchasing from MAC for over 20 years and notice a huge hike in price. It was just very disappointing. I never have time to compare other brands, but I am seriously now considering changing brands for a few basic products such as my concealer for a more "lightweight" product for less lines... I also think that since the product hasn't “evolved” or changed over time, that it’s very unfair to push the price increase onto customers. I feel as though it's a bit outdated compared to other products on the market. I am a very loyal customer, and I absolutely love my MAC products.... but I was aggravated when I saw my studio fix 24 hr. concealer was now $30! That's insane. Thanks! Jennifer (not to say I won't purchase again, I just think it’s way too much of a price increase) - that is my honest opinion and hurts customer retention. (the only good thing from today, although kind of forced, was I subscribed for every 6 months to get the 15% discount, and then I got free shipping) - but ultimately was slapped with the sales tax..... seems sneaky. There is my honest opinion. Thanks! Jennifer
