The approval process for the logos was unnecessarily complicated and redundant messages wasted my time. Simply including the thread colors used on the approval form would have solved my issues. The first issue was that the 2 images on the approval form did not match. I did what the form instructed me to and called customer service who told me that was outside of their scope and to email the art department. When I emailed the art department, I was very specific about the situation and the replies I received were not specific and required me asking for clarification multiple times. In the end I wasn’t even entirely sure the form actually matched the last proof I had been shown, but when I asked how to approve it I was told to sign the existing form. If we order from LL Bean in the future, it will be because this logo is already setup; I will push back if my team asks to setup a new logo because I don’t think it’s worth it.
I am not 100% happy with the thread color but it is good enough. I would have been much happier with this process if I was able to see the thread color name and be able to see the other options to decided it is in fact the best. The lack of visibility for me made it even harder to work with LLBean's process.
