I recently purchased several Circa items for Levenger. I have been a fan of this system since college and have used it continuously. I ordered a new notebook cover and some additional pieces, and was incredibly disappointed at the quality of these items in my order. Levenger has always been known for quality, and over the past few years, the brand has become anything but. I have bought several monogrammed leather notebooks; each of these has the leather peeling from the front. When I previously contacted customer service about this, they said nothing could be done because it had been 18 months since they were purchased. So I recently made another order as a solution to replace a notebook cover. The quality of this leather notebook cover was so substandard that I still cannot believe that Levenger is selling it. I genuinely hope that Levenger returns to the quality that I have come to know and expect over the years.
I would also like to add that when I initially placed this order, I paid for overnight shipping, and my order took two days to arrive. I don't necessarily mind the extra time, but I do mind being charged for a service that did not deliver on time. Customer service notified me after the fact, when I did my return that there is a notice about processing time but I missed that when I paid for faster shipping.
I hate to write such a critical note, and I hope that my comments can be shared among the company because I do truly love your products and have been using them continuously for twenty years, but something has to give here. I hope that the quality that Levenger is known for returns, because if it doesn't, Levenger will lose a lifelong customer, and I'll have to source my notebooks, my staff's notebooks, and clients' gifts elsewhere.
