I purchased real flight RFL2000. I need a simulator with the widest selection of aircraft for myself and 3 grandchildren. There was no clear list of aircraft for each of the 15+ simulators offered. Simply seemed like missinformation perfected. After 20 minute data mining exercise. I gave in and purchased RFL2000 @ $228. NOT WHAT I WANTED OR NEEDED, but it was the only flight simulator broadest model selection. I have 2 transmitters already. Don't need a 3rd I just wanted a dongle and USB cable. But again after 20 minutes of complete discust with nearly impossible to compare apples to apples.
Pricing is so greedy and unbelivable over priced. People who become profecient at flying will spend more on models. HH can be preactive or proactive. People who crash their first airplane and then buy the sim after they have destroyed their airplane.
So if HH wants to make money, keep your existing strategy and do nothing.
A. CLEAN UP your offering of simulators where you can see a head to head comparison of features.
B. If you want to be proactive, offer cost +10% for the flight sym, when buying a new transmitter or trainer.
I have been in the hobby 57 years. In my life the absolute best and worst customer service has ben from HH.
The best was replace a broken antenna on my DX6I. I will buy spectrum radio and products whenever possible.
The worst was issue with the transmitter and a DUET S2. Worst customer service I have ever seen or experienced. I may never buy another airplane from HH. Somebody should be fired. The supervisor and manager should receive a quarterly bonus based on resolution of problems and customer satisfaction.
