In a recent move, I lost my RealFlight simulator. So I decided to order a new copy of the simulator to teach 2 grandsons to fly.
The only option available to buy a flight sim with all of HH models was the RFL2000.
I didn't need a radio or the interlink since I already own both items.
The only basic options was $70 a quarter which is $280 a year forever.
I already own a DX6I and a new IX14 with 3 AR14410T 10 & 14 channel receivers. You haven't made enough money on those products you are price gouging.
I HAVE been a loyal customer for 20 years. I have always purchased everything from HH. However the way I was treated earlier with a problem with a DUET transmitter, and now your product packaging and pricing strategy for RealFlight SIM, I will be looking to spend my hobby dollars elsewhere.
If someone spends over some moderate threshold $500 or $600 you should be able sell them a flight sim for $20 or $25. If its over $1,500 ~ $1,600 or more on a Transmitter & receivers give them a flight SIM.
With a throughout packaging and pricing strategy, you can improve sales and customer satisfaction simultaneously.
I have been very impressed with the Blade 550 and 700 Helicopters. Now I am going to take a second look at the Align 700/800 or MA620
