Renting games through Gamefly gives you better value than buying a brand new game at face value ($70), you get to play the whole game on your own time and busy schedule and then when you are tired of it or beat it just pop it back in the pre-labeled envelope they send you and put it in your mailbox (make sure to put up the little red flag for the mailman) and done! Onto the next game on your queue. One little wish: it would be great if you could have Gamefly "anticipate" your next game being sent out to you without the gap of rental to mailbox to being acknowledged as shipped by the postal service. In order to reduce that lag time till the next game. I get it though, its kind of like the honor system otherwise and they need to prove you are returning the current game. My plan is to burn through as many games as I can and get caught up on my backlog so this does slow me down some. Also- it would be great if there was a perspective on older games to rent that have come and gone by, a lot of upcoming games are featured which is great, but you actually have to dig around to find them.
I do have to say they have heft discounts on used games that crushes the competition, I just caught Metal Gear Solid Delta for $19 which is insane! Comparison: Best Buy ($57), Gamestop ($39), Walmart ($37) or Amazon ($37).
