Definite Maybe
Post-Delivery FeedbackAug 3, 2025
I picked FD because of their product pricing, shipping costs, and delivery expectations. I placed my order 07/05 and received a confirmation 07/08. By 07/16, I had not heard anything further, so, I emailed, to inquire about the order. Customer Service emailed me back, same day, telling me they were waiting on one item and expected it the next week; once received, my order would ship. By 07/30, I had not heard anything nor received my order. On 07/30, 3 weeks since my order was confirmed, I emailed, again, inquiring about the order. 07/31, I received an email telling me I had been charged for the order and that the order was being prepared to ship. A nice surprise was being told (by FedEx) the order would arrive on 08/04; it arrive a day early, on 08/03.
So, while I have some good things to say, my biggest frustration, for lack of a better word, was what I felt was short comings in communication. Sounds like FD still does a lot of things manually - that's not at all a problem - I merely would let to suggest that communication with customers be more proactive, than reactive. If you don't have the product, tell me. If you have expectations for product arrival to your warehouse, tell me. If it doesn't show up when it's supposed to, tell me. I understand and respect the fact that FD had to wait on a product to arrive before they could send the whole order. At one week from my initial iniquiry, it would have been nice to know if there was another delay, or if other orders were ahead of mine, or anything that would have delayed things an additional week. It, simply, would have been nice to know what was happening, and why, as opposed to me having to ask.
Again, I like the prices, I like the fast shipping (for 48 pounds of liquid), I like their clear professional-looking invoice, and clear responses to questions - absolutely wonderful aspects. Those things make me feel like I would order from FD again. I just need to know if I have to call before placing an order, so I get a better handle on what I should expect.
Oh, and the survey timeout - luckily, I copied my comment before refreshing the page.
