Overall Experience:
My overall interaction with the website today was positive and efficient. I found the site visually appealing and was able to navigate it with ease.
What worked well (The Good):
Navigation & Layout: The website structure is intuitive. The main menu categories are clear, making it simple to browse different product lines like skincare and makeup.
Product Information: The product pages are excellent. They feature high-quality images, detailed descriptions, ingredient lists, and usage instructions, which are very helpful for making informed decisions.
Visual Design and Aesthetics: The site's design is elegant and aligns perfectly with the Estée Lauder brand image. The photography and overall presentation are sophisticated.
Website Performance: The pages loaded quickly and smoothly, without any delays, which made for a seamless browsing experience.
Areas for Improvement (The Bad):
Product Filtering: On category pages (e.g., "Moisturizers"), the filter options could be more advanced. It would be useful to have filters for specific skin concerns (like "hyper-sensitive," "very dry," or "acne-prone") or key ingredients to narrow down choices more effectively.
Search Functionality: The search bar's autocomplete suggestions could be more precise. Sometimes, typing a common product name doesn't immediately bring up the most relevant result.
Clarity on Promotions/Membership: While there were banners about promotions, the details (like automatic gift-with-purchase at the cart stage) could be more prominently displayed to enhance the sense of value.
