Site Experience FeedbackNov 28, 2025
I didn't find your website particularly intuitive, but I had not visited it in some time, so perhaps I was not using it efficiently. I must also admit that I find your multiple offerings with similar names difficult to navigate -- for example, two ultimate diamond eye creams. I nearly ordered the wrong one! However, I do appreciate the fact that you have provided customers a day with a 30% discount. I only purchase EL products when they are deeply discounted. As a side note, I am continually appalled by the tiny amounts of product you sell in huge, heavy containers. Yes, they feel substantial in the hand, and they are effective -- but your packaging is not environmentally friendly, and it really only draws attention to fact that you appear to be trying to convince consumers that they are getting "quite a lot" for the prices you charge. Your products speak for themselves. Nevertheless, I wish you would price your top lines so that more people can afford them all-year 'round, not just on your special sale days. (You do own La Mer, for those who want to feel elite by paying a small fortune for their skin care.) I have been an EL customer for nearly fifty years now, as I began using your products in my early thirties. I am continually complimented on my youthful complexion and always mention that I have EL to thank for it. So I will continue watching your sales and purchase what I can afford. I might also mention that I am feeling terrible this year not buying my EL products from the wonderful saleslady who has helped me for more than 20 years at Nordstrom Santa Ana (now closed) and then South Coast Plaza until now, Diana Mariscal. Your online sale is better than Nordstrom's this year, more's the pity. I do wonder if you are trying to discourage customers from in-store shopping. I personally love the in-store experience of seeing the new products up close and smelling the new fragrances. My experience has been that EL's salesladies (and occasionally gentlemen) are the best! Maybe it's because I am ancient of days and have decades of happy in-store shopping behind me, but I don't feel any exhilaration buying cosmetics online -- only the satisfaction of having paid a more reasonable price for your products. (I am not mercenary enough to waste a saleslady's time showing my products at Nordstroms and then go home and purchase from you online.) Bottom line: love your products, wish they were more reasonably priced more often, missing my favorite saleslady at Nordstroms something awful. If I were richer, I would buy everything Nutriv Ultimate Diamond possible.
