I placed two orders a few hours apart 2 days before the BF sale, but on BF they had a promo with free items over a minimum purchase.
I called and spoke with a rep who said that since my 2 orders were placed within 3 days of the promo, the easiest thing to do would be to return my items and re-place a combined order to get the free promo item. He said he can also place a ticket to the appropriate team and he said it shouldn’t be a problem to get the free promo item since I placed the order within 2 days.
However, since one of my items was out of stock, I could not re-place an order so I called back and spoke with a different agent who said the ticket had already been placed, and that I should hear back within a few days.
I never heard back from them so I called and spoke with a 3rd agent who said that they denied the request and can’t combine orders, and would not honor the promotion even though it was within 3 days, and even though the orders were placed hours apart and would satisfy the minimum to qualify for the free gift.
Am not happy at all that they never got back to me and I had to be the one to follow up.
Also am not happy that even though the one agent said it shouldn’t be a problem, another department just flat-out denied the request and didn’t even have the courtesy to get back to me.
Their items are not unique. From now I will purchase a different brand based solely on this experience.
