Epic Sports: How to Go From Good to Great
My experience with Epic has been favorable overall, and I appreciate the value you offer. However, there are several areas where small improvements would create a dramatically better customer experience and increase sales.
1. Improve the Size Filter
The size filter only allows selecting one size at a time. Most coaches and team buyers need to browse multiple sizes at once. Adding multi‑select filtering would make shopping much faster and more accurate.
2. Fix Sock Sizing
Epic socks currently fit only very slim calves. Athletes — especially football, basketball, and track players — generally have larger calves. Please offer wider calf options and adult performance sock sizes up to 13–15, comparable to major brands.
3. Reduce Dazzle Jerseys
Your clearance section is almost entirely dazzle jerseys, but most teams in 2026 and beyond do not wear dazzle. Teams want matte finishes, modern cuts, and lightweight fabrics. Offering more modern football jersey blanks would better match current demand.
4. Offer Modern “On‑Field Style” Blanks
Right now, you mainly offer elastic‑cuffed, in‑game jerseys. Millions of fans buy NFL‑style and college‑style jerseys every year. If Epic sold modern‑cut blanks for customization, it would open a major new revenue stream.
5. Improve Shipping Costs
Competitors offer free shipping at $69–$99 or flat‑rate promotions. I spent $100 on hats and still had to pay $25 shipping. Even occasional free‑shipping flash sales would encourage larger orders.
6. Strengthen Packaging Quality
Several of my recent shipments arrived with poorly taped boxes that had busted open. If customers are paying premium shipping fees, packaging should reflect that with stronger tape, reinforced seams, and better box quality.
