Bummed

I was trying to firstly find the number of my local dover for hours. I could find nothing. I assumed it was closed down. No was bummed. I had found that they had the bridle and reins in stock so I ordered over the internet. I figured I could wait a week.. Bummed (again )I couldn't get it firsthand. I was excited. But I understand businesses close. That's too bad, but at least do it is still online. I placed my order. Within a week the reins arrived separately from the bridle (ordered at the same time). I figured it would come in the next day., Nope. Also,nthe reins came from Dressage Extensions, not dover.bl Makes me think I should have ordered from them to begin with. I FINALLY received the headstall portion of the bridal today 13th, 10 days after order placed. Not a terribly long time, but this isn't the usual service that I've known from dover. Obviously something is going on with the company. It's s a shame really. I've been order or visiting their stores forever. At least 20+ years. I may be inclined to pass over dover when surfing for my next product . 😢 I also received the (a very expensive bridle, for me) in a plastic bag. A portion of the bag was worn through in transit. I haven't looked yet as it's bedtime for me, I just needed to get this review sent. I'll look tomorrow. Just hoping the single layer of bubble wrap did it's due diligence. No tissue paper just a plastic bag and well placed bubble wrap from the factory. Just kind of 1/2 @$$ed in my opinion, sad again. I expected so much more from Dover. I've probably had this bridle on my dream list for three years before I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. Just kind of a deflated experience really. Sorry for the low review. I wished I could've given a 10 all around.
