I purchased a replacement car stereo for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan American Value Package. The AVP has zero options, so UConnect, navigation, amplifiers, and advanced steering wheel controls weren't in play. The website made it easy to select a stereo, but afterwards, I found the website unhelpful. It informed me that I needed installation accessories and then proceeded to offer me a package that was at least 25% more expensive than just the stereo.
All I needed was the minimum kit that (a) allowed my stereo to fit in the dash and (b) avoided doing the harness work. I found it impossible to identify the minimum kit. The descriptions weren't helpful, and the combination of accessories was bewildering.
The website offered a phone number, so I begrudgingly called it. My rep was outstanding, and I was amazed that we were able to work on my shopping cart together, in real time. When I inquired how this was possible, the rep informed me that the phone number shown to me is bespoke for my cart. Very clever!
The rep helped me identify the minimum kit I needed and added it to my cart. Thereafter, I completed the purchase with the website.
