Order today was alright. In the past several years, I have bought several thousand dollars worth of stereo equipment from Crutchfield, One of the units, a Rotel cd player, had a complete breakdown, roughly two months out of warranty, I was disappointed, after directly contacting Crutchfield, that I received sympathy but not one shred of any sort of offer on a deal to replace the useless cd player.
I will readily admit you have an outstanding presence on the www and, for my money, not much competition, in terms of pricing\delivery reliablilty\product offering and so I bought an Onkyo cd player to replace the useless Rotel.
Still, I thought I might get more than a terse apology for the short life of the Rotel.
In fairness, I got a similar response from the manufacturer, so perhaps I am not being fair to Crutchfield.
Here in the twenty first century, with virtually no brick\morter stereo stores, Crutchfield does a decent job.
I just was surprised to not get a more “personal” response following the Rotel failure.
